India’s Pondman – Ramveer Tanwar

This week on the Culture of ESG, Harsh helms a truly inspiring conversation with Ramveer Tanwar, India’s ‘Pondman’.

A true grassroots conservationist, Ramveer is a perfect example of the power of an individual to bring change. He started his first pond cleanup with a friend and two spades. This SMALL start and his BIG passion led to 52 pond rejuvenations resulting in 100 crore liters of water saved annually.

Ramveer found global recognition when Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned his work in Mann ki Baat; however, for this unassuming man each water body saved from destruction is his biggest prize.

Let’s hear his story!
